The village of Beadnell is accessible from the A1. Capenhurst provides an excellent base for exploring the beauty of the Northumberland coastline, Bamburgh Castle (4 miles), Alnwick Castle and Gardens (12 miles), and Seahouses (3 miles) where local fishermen offer trips to the Farne Islands.

Dunstanburgh Castle can be seen from the back bedroom windows and is accessible on foot along the beach and nearby dunes.

As a family we all love Beadnell and have had many happy holidays there for nearly 30 years. We would like our visitors to experience that passion too, the peace and tranquility of the early morning, the fishing boats coming in to the cove, the sun rising over the sea's horizon at the front of the house (which is magnificent!), and the fun of building sandcastles with moats on the beach.
